Forge is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics Universe, a superhero associated with The X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist John Romita Jr., he first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #184 (August 1984) and would later on quit in Uncanny X-Men #290 (June 1992)
A mutant with an unsurpassed brilliance in technology, Forge has had a lengthy career as a government weapons contractor. He shared a romantic relationship with Storm, and a brief affair with Mystique which led him to associate with the X-Men, beefing-up the technology at the X-Mansion. He was also a member of the Pentagon-funded mutant group X-Factor. Forge is part robot due to him being a genius in technology and inventing which is why he is the X-Men's mechanic he builds, fixes, and advances all of the technology in the X-Mansion except Cerebro he also was a mechanic for the X-factor. He had a brief romantic relationship with Storm after Forge saved her from falling into a river after her powers failed her she left him after she figured out that it was forge that made her powers fail her. Forge has a robot arm which can be transformed into a laser cannon or many other things. Forge is a superhuman inventor with a super intelligence at inventing. He also has various mystical abilities and is a skilled marksman.
